      Dr. Maria Linda Dulay, 77 of Madison, Florida died Saturday November 4, 2017 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Georgia.

     Dr. Linda Dulay M.D. is survived by her husband Dr. Adolfo Cardenas Dulay M.D. of 49 years; two children Christine Marie Dulay of Orlando, Florida and Eric John Dulay of Orlando, Florida, and one grandchild Angelina Marie Dulay of Orlando, Florida; her brothers Jose Ramon Gabucan of Orlando, Florida, Jose Antonio Gabucan of  Catarman, Camiguin island, Philippines, Jose Vincent Gabucan of Eagle Rock, California, and  Jose Miguelito  Gabucan, of Orlando, Florida and her sister Maria Lourdes Gabucan-Noel from Orlando, Florida; as well as Chester Conrad Babst from Orlando, Florida. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews in the United States and Philippines.

She was was proceeded by her sister Maria Theresa Gabucan of Orlando, Florida. 

     Maria Linda Dulay M.D. was born in Cebu City, Philippines the daughter of Ricardo Gabucan, a lawyer, and Nieves Gonzales a business woman. She was a devoted, caring wife, mother, and medical doctor to the community where she relentlessly devoted her time and practice, She will be greatly missed to all those she has touched “Dr. Linda”.

She attended grade school in the Philippines and was the high school Valedictorian at Lourdes College in Cagayan De Oro City, Philippines. She received her degree of Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Santo Tomas specializing in Pediatrics at the Catholic University of the Philippines in Manila. Dr. Dulay did her pediatric residency at Harlem Hospital Center at Columbia University, New York, New York. She and her husband, Dr. Adolfo Dulay then completed their education in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at Saint Michaels Hospital.

Mr. and Mrs.. Dr. Dulay served their country in the United States Department of Health, Education, and Welfare where she held the title of Senior Surgeon Medical Officer. They were assigned to Madison, Florida. Dr Linda Dulay M.D. and Dr. Adolfo Dulay M.D. moved to Madison, Florida and opened a family practice in Pediatrics and Internal Medicine. Together they also opened Madison Nursing Home currently Madison Health & Rehabilitation Center where the practice still flourishes.

A public viewing will be held at Beggs Funeral Home 235 N.W. Orange Avenue Madison, Florida 32340 on November 17, 2017 between 5:00 p.m. -7-p.m., and a Memorial mass at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church Madison, Florida on the following Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 9:00 am. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery Madison, Florida.
