Madison, Florida: Mrs. Rheba Caroline Watson, age 92, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019 in Madison County Florida.

 

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 29, 2019 at Cherry Lake Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Cherry Lake Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the Church.

 

She was born in Mystic, Georgia to the late William Cuthbert and Dora Fowler Hawkins. She was a member of Cherry Lake Baptist Church.

After graduating High School, Mrs. Watson moved to Jacksonville, Fl, where she was employed as a Telephone Operator.

She later moved to Madison where she was employed by Kramer’s Department Store in Madison for thirty years as a sales associate. 

Mrs. Watson raised three children single- handedly.

She served very actively in her church and took care of others very unselfishly.

 

She is survived by two sons, Bill Watson and De Watson both of Cherry Lake, FL; one daughter, Edith Read (Jody) of Lake Butler, FL; a sister, Ruthie Oliver, Hawkinsville, GA;  five grandchildren, Brittany Ward,  Kayla Knight, Jordyn Knight all of  Lake Butler, Fl.  Derek Read of St. Louis, MO,

and Dylan Read of Denver, CO; two Great Grandchildren, Avery Ward and Liam Ward; a cousin Andy Prickett (Billy Ann) of Marshallville, GA.
